Studio Dahl offers custom art and jewelry making classes focusing on how to design and fabricate handmade jewelry, sculpture and art pieces.

All levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced jewelers wanting to expand their knowledge base and improve technique. Our beginner curriculum is carefully structured to strengthen the skills needed to produce professional-quality jewelry pieces.
Steps to Get Started

Before joining Studio Dahl's group jewelry making classes all new students must book an intro class. This helps to ensure all students are entering the group class with clear starting goals and direction.

Please call me directly to schedule an intro meeting and go over what steps students can take to ensure an optimally productive intro meeting.

After intro meeting students are welcome to join the group classes or continue with private instructions.

Private Lessons
Studio Dahl offers one-on-one instruction for students in need of focussed assistance, looking to learn a specific technique or create a specialized project.
Students can expect to receive privet studio time with our skilled instructors. The curriculum, structured around student interest, is entirely customizable. The number of lessons required is dependent on student goals, expectations, and experience level.
Private lessons at Studio Dahl have a minimum of 2 hours per lesson at $100/hour. Feel free to call for more details or questions. Deposits are required to secure appointments, as well as 24 hour notice for any cancellation.
Tools & Materials
Studio Dahl does have tools available for use in the studio but students will ideally need to have their own basic tools to get the most out what we will learn in class by working at home.
If you are not ready to purchase your own tools, Studio Dahl offers rental tool kits available for $25/month. Students will be charged the full cost of the kit and upon return will receive the deposit back with the monthly kit cost subtracted per number of months the student used the kit. The kit will also be available for purchase if the student decides to do so.
We will also introduce you to various relevant NYC and online jewelry supply options to purchase tools as needed.
Students will be responsible for purchasing their own materials but will receive education, support and guidance along the way to purchase the correct quality materials.
